More Exercise = Better Libido

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that many of the activities that make our bodies healthier also contribute to a healthy sex life. After all, sex is just another bodily function like eating, sleeping and walking, so it makes sense that we would perform at our best in the bedroom when our bodies are working at their best. Exercise has been linked to a healthy sex life quite frequently. Here are just a few exciting ways that exercise can be connected to our sex lives.

Cardio/stamina

While sex will never replace marathon running or long distance biking, it is good exercise. If you lead a sedentary lifestyle, and then expect to go for hours in the bedroom, you are living in dreamland. The same can be said for your sex drive. With regular exercise, especially cardio exercise, you will be able to last longer in the bedroom, you’ll likely enjoy sex more and you’ll be able to have sex for longer periods without getting too sweaty. There is a very good chance that all of these things will lead to you wanting to have sex more often, which means that exercise can easily be considered a female libido enhancer.

Self image/self confidence

Not only can proper diet and exercise make you feel better, we know that it can make you look better too. Self confidence goes a long way in determining one’s sex drive, too. If you feel good and you think you look good in the mirror, you are going to be much more willing to take off your clothes and risk being judged by your partner. It is also possible that this reasoning works below the surface in your subconscious. You may not even realize that what you thought about yourself that morning in the mirror is still playing on your mind later in the evening when you are presented with the option of sexual intimacy.

Burns fat

You can have the best diet in the world, but unless you are willing to get out there and burn some fat, you might as well not even be bothering. By burning fat, you are toning your body and getting in shape, and like we saw above, if you look better, you’ll be far more likely to take off your clothes and be intimate with another person. There can be no doubt that exercise is a true female libido enhancer, but it also makes every other aspect of you life more special, too.

Attracts others

Nothing works better to increase female libido than getting noticed. Even if the person who acknowledges your appearance is completely not your type, the fact that another person thought enough of you to tell you that you are beautiful can be a huge ego boost to anyone, and the perfect mood setter for later that night. A fit, toned body is more likely to get those kinds of comments, so the benefits from exercise are easily apparent once again. If you are suffering from a dry patch in your sex drive, consider exercising on a regular basis.
