Why You NEED to Eat Healthy

We have al heard about how some foods are supposed to have magical sexual effects on some people. Strawberries, chocolate and oysters (although not all together) are supposed to make the strongest will swoon in no time flat. While these claims remain dubious at best, there can be no denying that there is a link between proper diet, eating healthy and sexual performance. We often forget that our bodies are machines and we have to feed the machine the proper fuel if we want to get the most out of it. Here are just a few handy tips you can use to increase female libido and feel better about yourself at the same time.

What to Add

It is the same diet advice you have been hearing since you were a small child: veggies, fruits, veggies and fruits. While a diet of just vegetables and fruits will leave you in bad shape, you can and will feel better with increased servings of these foods in your diet. You also want to get away from organ meats like sausage, liver and kidneys and instead go for an increased intake of fish, chicken breast, lean beef and even pork loin. Lean meats provide your body with the protein you need to keep going throughout your day.

What to Subtract

While strawberries are rumored to be female libido enhancers, there can be no argument that junk food isn’t. If your diet comes engulfed in a burger wrapper, you are probably not living like you should. You are likely having trouble concentrating at work and you are more irritable around your partner and with friends. Cut out the fatty meats, the fast food, the junk food and the saturated fats from things like margarine, butter and lard. Instead, cook with healthy oils like olive, sunflower and safflower. You’ll notice a huge uptick in energy as well as a likely increase in your libido, too.

What Else Can I Do

Since we are looking at long term diet solutions to your sexual health issues and not short term female libido enhancers, you might want to consider counting calories. This way, you will have undisputed proof of how many calories per day you are taking in as opposed to how many you are expending. You don’t need to obtain an even level to expect that you will have your libido back, but the closer you can get to evening the two out, the better you will feel, the more energy you will have later in the day and the most likely you are that you’ll be in the mood once the lights go out.

One final tip - just because you are starting a new, libido-conscious diet doesn’t mean you have to give up your favourite things. Going cold turkey almost never works, which means that you can continue to enjoy the things you love, but try to have smaller portions and have them less often. If you can follow this simple plan, you can expect to see increased vitality almost right away.
